most productive and efficient oil drilling rigs in operation today. In 2009, Savanna introduced four brand new drilling rigs to
the North American market. Savanna Drilling 650, 651, 652E and 653E were built
for depths of 4000 metres and were immediately under contract upon completion.
These rigs are internationally renown for features such as fully automated AC
controlled drawworks, automated pipe handling, drill pad moving systems and
computerized diagnostic and monitoring capabilities. Savanna’s rigs are built
to compete with and out-perform the best oil drilling rigs in the business
worldwide. Our fleet is geographically diversified throughout Canada, the United
States and Australia. We offer
service-oriented contract drilling operations in Western Canada from field
offices in Nisku, Alberta
and Carlyle, Saskatchewan,
and in the US from Odessa and Weatherford, Texas, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and Haughton,
Louisiana. These shops provide
support to our fleet of 100 Technologically Upgraded Double and Triple Drilling
Rigs. Capable of drilling depths of 2500 to 4000 meters (8,200 to 11,800 ft) with our fleet of telescopic double rigs and depths of 5000m (16,400 ft.) with our two triples, Savanna’s fleet of deep well rigs excel in oil and deep shale gas plays across North America.
