Built for the medium depth drilling market, the TDS-3000 compliments Savanna’s fleet by meeting needs in medium depth drilling markets such as the Viking Play, Cardium Play, and lower Shaunavon Play. This rig’s design is also a reflection of Savanna’s ability to adapt and meet customer demands. This new Top Drive Single (TDS) is capable of reaching depths of 3000m and is built from the foundation of Savanna’s Hybrid rigs. A re-configuration of these less active Hybrid rigs has enabled Savanna to diversify its offerings, and early indicators point to a high demand for the TDS-3000 due to the rig's many features and benefits. Employing top drive technology, these rigs are highly mobile, and capable of running up to Range 3 pipe for efficient drilling and less connections.
