Savanna Energy Services Corp. (Savanna) is a premiere North American energy services provider headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.

Our primary offerings include conventional and directional drilling, well servicing and comprehensive oilfield services such as oilfield equipment rental that meet the needs of our diverse oil and gas customers. Savanna is uniquely positioned in the energy services industry, incorporating Aboriginal partnerships and community involvement with leading technology that includes PLC-controlled service rigs and patented hybrid drilling rigs.

Completion of Savanna’s current capital plan will result in a fleet of 99 drilling rigs, 56 service rigs and 8 coil tubing service units. Savanna has expanded into select markets in the United States due to customer demand, and anticipates further U.S. drilling services expansion in 2008. The Company is also assessing numerous international growth initiatives for post-2008 expansion as well.

Growth has primarily occurred organically with the vast majority of the equipment being manufactured over the past five years. This aggressive build program has resulted in an average equipment age of approximately 3.5 years - significantly below the industry average. Approximately one third of our drilling rigs are under contract, with remaining terms averaging approximately one year. The Company has a peak base of approximately 1800 employees, the majority of whom are employed on an hourly or day-work basis, providing significant scalability with respect to activity levels.

Focused on maintaining industry leadership in performance and safety, Savanna also brings value to oil and gas customers through partnerships with numerous Aboriginal communities in western Canada. These communities have ownership positions in both drilling and service rigs in partnership with Savanna, as well as associated employment and training opportunities.

With a very strong balance sheet, Savanna is also well positioned to accelerate growth within drilling, well servicing and oilfield services, or expand into ancillary services, through acquisitions. Looking to the future, we anticipate strong growth throughout all facets of our drilling and oilfield services.
